Social Studies HW:  NOT TO BE DONE IN GRAPHIC ORGANZER. ONLY IN NOTEBOOK.

Students began to learn about the five themes of geography. Today we only talked about Movement.

Their homework in the NOTEBOOKS is to write a definition of the other four Region, Location, Human Interaction and Place. These four words can be found in their textbook between the pages 10-and 13. If they did not understand they can use a google or real dictionary. Student’s can copy the paragraph from the book. We will discuss these 4 tomorrow and then place in their graphic organizers.

Social Studies- All BERLIN students need to complete their maps of the world. They have a rubric and a map to follow. I did tell them that coloring was not important because it distorts a map. But they should use colored pencils, crayons or markers to write or underline each location. They may color in the outline of the continent or country. Neatness and legibility is more important. Science- NO HOME WORK

Camp deposit

Just wanted to let parents know that camp deposit ($20.00) can be turned in before curriculum night, this will elevate the wait time for receipts. The deposit holds your child’s spot for camp. We accept both cash/check. If you are writing a check, please make it out to Mason Middle School; also please make sure the students first and last name is written in the memo portion. A receipt will be stapled into the student’s planner upon receiving money. Money can be given to Ms.Smith.
